Since 2018 one of the toughest questions for me to answer as a cam model was, "Where can I find you?" Well... It was difficult for fans to really know where to find me and trying to keep all of those sites updated was just unmanageable. As much as I looked, there was no site that was able to support the broad array of content that I was trying to create. I knew I needed to build my own website.

Of course, I know absolutely nothing about how to build a website. So I reached out to some friends who do graphic design work and hired them to help me get something going. From the beginning they told me to let my imagination and creativity run wild. Even if I thought it was crazy and out there, they wouldn't know if they could do it unless I asked for it. GREAT! I just gotta give them a bunch of money and a site would pop out, right?! WRONG! Turns out that I was actually going to have to be part of the process. They weren't building aa website. WE were building a website So for 3 years we worked tirelessly on this project. Countless number of sleepless nights, stress, sweat, tears, and money went into this project. Then last year, it all came to a head. I'd built the whole thing wrong and had to start over.

I was absolutely gutted, but there really was no other way around it. Rather than view that as a failure, I saw it as the cost of education. I learned a lot during that time and I was still able to apply that knowledge going forward. The experience I gained helped me going forward and made this second effort go much smoother than the first. There were so many times where I questioned myself. Was I doing the right thing? Was this really necessary? But I knew this was something I wanted to do. It was important to me and I knew it would make supporting me as a creator so much easier and more rewarding for my fans. So I persevered. And now FINALLY, I get to share the results of all this hard work with you. For one montly tribute, you can have access to ALL of my content in ONE place!

This journey is nowhere near complete. Right now the site is very much fuction over form. It is a content delivery system where you can access all of my content in one place. This is stage one. However, my goal is to make this site just like my cam show: a full in-depth interactive experience like nothing else the adult internet has ever seen. Becoming a cam model was easily the best decision I ever made. I could talk all day about the great experiences and interactions I’ve had on Chaturbate, but I’m going to try to narrow it down to my top five.

One look at a cam site and you’ll know that every cam room really is a window into a different world. Some models like to show off their unique and creative shows, some offer an intimate girlfriend experience, and others are all about the body-ody-ody. Camming allows you to literally build your own world from the ground up. You get to control everything from the lighting and decor, to the goals and activities, all the way down to the tone and vibe. Whatever you’re into, whatever your style is, camming is an opportunity to show that off and attract an audience that enjoys the same thing.

What I think sets camming apart from many other forms of sex work is the community. Cam rooms are the only place where a bunch of people who are attracted to the same person can actually be friends instead of competitors. If people just wanted to bust a quick nut, there’s an endless amount of free (stolen) porn on the internet. Fans might initially be drawn to a model's physical attributes, but it’s the connection they feel with the model and the room that keeps them coming back. Our relationship with sex is also closely tied to our sense of self worth and body image. Being noticed and acknowledged by someone we admire can have a huge effect on our confidence and self esteem. Porn can make someone feel horny, but a good cam model can make someone feel seen.

Camming doesn’t just offer you financial freedom, but also freedom over your time. When I was in college I worked at a coffee shop. The thing I hated most was how much time I missed out on with friends and loved ones because I didn’t have control over my schedule or my hours. Since I’ve started camming, I’m not only able to make time for the people I care for, but also for myself. As someone who struggles with chronic mental health issues, being able to make time for self care has made a world of difference on my emotional and physical well being. You can always make more money, but you can’t make more time.

I’m always so impressed by all of the models who got their start on OnlyFans (RIP) because that site gives models literally no traffic. Models there are responsible for driving ALL of their own promotion and traffic. That’s bananas! When you’re a cam model, on a good platform, all of the traffic comes to you. Even if I don’t Tweet or post on my IG story, I know that when I sign on Chaturbate, there will always be eyes on my room. This allows models to put their energy into innovating their live streams and creating new content, rather than promotion and marketing. Personally, I’ve never been very good at promoting myself, or growing strong social media followings. Maintaining multiple accounts on a wide variety of ever changing platforms is a full-time job all on its own and that’s time I would much rather spend on other projects.

Unlike many other forms of adult entertainment, I feel like cam models have a unique ability to connect with and engage with our fans on a more personal level. Specifically, because we spend so much more face time with our fans. Personally, I cam 4 nights a week for an average of 4 hours a night. Some models log on literally everyday. Most people cannot afford to consistently spend that much one-on-one time with their favorite dancer, escort, or porn star. However, anyone with an account can log into my room and chat with me from the comfort of their own home FOR FREE. Cam models not only spend more hours with their fans, but the home environment also makes the experience feel a lot more personal and intimate. I think all of these things allow our fans to see us and get to know us in a way that just isn’t always possible with other forms of adult entertainment. Depending on what kind of person you are, this could be a good thing or a bad thing. For me, personally, this is my absolute favorite thing about camming. I’ve helped fans work through trauma, pain, grief and loss. I’ve been there to celebrate milestones and share in their personal successes. They’ve seen me at my best, and supported me through my worst depression, illness and injury. If I had to shut up and just fuck my pussy for 4 hours straight, I don’t think I would be as passionate, committed or proud of the work I do.
