Camming doesn’t just offer you financial freedom, but also freedom over your time. When I was in college I worked at a coffee shop. The thing I hated most was how much time I missed out on with friends and loved ones because I didn’t have control over my schedule or my hours. As someone who struggles with chronic mental health issues, being able to make time for self care has made a world of difference on my emotional and physical well being. You can always make more money, but you can’t make more time.

Most people cannot afford to consistently spend that much one-on-one time with their favorite dancer, escort, or porn star. Cam models not only spend more hours with their fans, but the home environment also makes the experience feel a lot more personal and intimate. I think all of these things allow our fans to see us and get to know us in a way that just isn’t always possible with other forms of adult entertainment. Depending on what kind of person you are, this could be a good thing or a bad thing. For me, personally, this is my absolute favorite thing about camming. I’ve helped fans work through trauma, pain, grief and loss. I’ve been there to celebrate milestones and share in their personal successes. They’ve seen me at my best, and supported me through my worst depression, illness and injury.
